In the past few years the term “green” has been used in almost all sectors of business. And with its use from cars to detergents the term has lost some of its meaning and seems a bit lack luster. But “green” is here to stay. Just what is green? It constitutes environmental protection, preservation and social responsibility; a socially accepted term that is laying the foundation for a higher state of consciousness.
One Way encompasses energy conservation as well as energy generation. Through lighting design and proper system controls, a home can decrease energy consumption by 30% or more, while the homeowner maintains his/her lifestyle. Our designs not only help reduce consumption, but can also give valuable real time usage statistics instead of just a lower monthly bill.

We practice what we preach; plain and simple. We strive as a business to recycle as much as possible while keeping waste to a minimum. This includes in our offices and on our jobsites. All cardboard boxes, plastic, wire, and other consumables are returned to our shop and delivered weekly to our nearest recycling center.

One Way has taken steps in this direction by consulting on LEED projects here in the Valley. LEED or Leadership in Environmental and Energy Design, is a nationally respected standard of building that raises the bar on architects, builders, developers and ultimately the homeowner. By staying ahead of the curve and researching new and innovative products for home building we see more efficient products coming out every quarter. We find our company as a whole moving toward energy efficient design in all of our projects, saving the environment and the client money on energy bills.
